MR BEVIN’S VIEWS ON ITALY
LONDON, November 4. Italy to-day told Britain that she considered that the alleged disclosure
of a secret memorandum by the British Foreign Secretary (Mr Ernest Bevin) criticising Italian statesmen and newspapers in no way impaired relations between the two nations.
A Foreign Office spokesman said that an Italian. Embassy representative had called at the Foreign Office and had said that the Italian Government did not think the matter of any consequence.
