GUERRILLA CLASH IN EAST JAVA
(Rec. 11.30 p.m.) BATAVIA. Oct. 12. Indonesian guerrillas killed five Dutch soldiers yesterday at Tretes, 18 kilometres from Sourabaya. according to official sources. Two Dutch soldiers escaped, and one is missing. The incident is stated to be the third this week in which guerrillas have clashed with Dutch patrols in East Java.
