KING LEOPOLD
REFERENDUM BILL DRAFTED (Rec. 8 p.m.) BRUSSELS, October 11 Reuter says that a joint Parliamentary committee to-day approved the final draft of the bill providing foi a referendum on King Leopold’s return to the throne. Twenty-three Social Christian (Roman Catholic) members of the committee voted for the bill. Thirteer Socialist members voted against it and five Liberals abstained. The bill will be debated in the Sen ate on October 25 and later in the Chamber of Deputies.
