PEACOCK FOUNTAIN
Sir,—Many thousands who visit the gardens each Sunday love the old fountain; and it had an ideal and beautiful setting. What is the counci' planning to do with it now? Throw it on the scrap-heap? The public who own it have a right to know. —Yours, etc., TAXPAYER. September 30, 1949.
