There was keen competition at the Sacred Heart College’s swimming sports. Patricia Falconer was senior champion, w -ll? T he runner-up, Barbara Frean. with 13 points, had two close wins over her m the two freestyle events. The intermediate champion was Shona Carev a clean and very promising swimmer, who obtained 15 points. New records were made in the senior and intermediate backstroke.
