CENTENARY OF PROVINCE
SPECIAL STAMPS TO BE ISSUED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, February 25. Designs for a special set of postage stamps to commemorate the centenary of the Canterbury provincial district are invited from the public, and an award of up to £5O will be paid for each accepted design, the PostmasterGeneral (Mr F. Hackett) announced to-day. Entries will close on April 30.
