MOTION PASSED BY R.S.A. AT DUNEDIN (P.A.) DUNEDIN, February 25. Communists are not wanted as members of the Returned Services' Association in Dunedin. The following motion was carried, after 40
minutes’ discussion: "That all Communists be debarred from membership of all affiliations of New Zealand Returned Services’ Association.” An amendment that the word “Communists” be deleted, and “member! of the New Zealand Communist Party” be substituted, was lost When the motion was put to the meeting there were three dissentients, including the mover and seconder of the amendment.
