ACCREDITING
Sir,—Owing to the failure of “The Press” to tell the truth of accrediting, these few words will give your readers a new and true viewpoint of accrediting. The accrediting of a pupil is the sole judgment and responsibility of the school principal, whether the pupil is knowm or not by the principal. The factors that enter into the accrediting are those wteich the principal decides irrespective of scholastic ability. Thus school reports are useless for parents to judge by. November 1 is, the last day on which a child can be accredited, so parents should go into the battle and cultivate those in whose hands lie their children’s, fate.—Yours, etc.. BERT F. February 11. 1948.
