HUNTSBURY BUS
Sir, —Cquld the residents of St. Martins road, Centaurus and others served on that route be told why the Huntsbury bus is being taken off its present route and sent back over a route that is already quite adequately served? I know that we also have access to this route: but how much easier and quicker it is, when one has small children, to walk a few yards to the bus stop instead of having to walk to Wilsons road.—Yours, etc., P.J.B. February 18, 1949. [“The improved timetable to Huntsbury forms part of the St. Martins service and it is necessary that buses follow a common route as far as tiie Centaurus road-Wilsons road junction,” says the manager of the Christchurch Trammay Board, Mr J. F. Fardell.J
