SOVIET FORCES TOLD TO STAY PREPARED
MARSHAL BULGANIN SEES
THREAT TO PEACE MOSCOW. February 22. Marshal Bulganin, the Soviet Minister of the Armed Forces, has issued an order of the day on the eve of Soviet Army Day calling on the Soviet armed forces to maintain “constant combat preparedness on a high level.” He added that the Soviet Union was fighting for lasting, democratic peace while the United States aimed at unleasing a new war.
