MEETING IN INVERCARGILL <P.A'.) INVERCARGILL. Feb. 23. A highlight of an athletic meeting in which the tquring Australians competed this evening was the defeat by two yards of J. L. Marks (Australia) by C. Simpson (Otago) in the 880 yards. Results were (competitors being from Invercargill unless otherwise stated): — 100 Yards, Scratch.—E. W. Carr and E.
