TOURNAMENT OF WEST COAST ASSOCIATION The West Coast Croquet Association’s annual tournament was continued at Greymouth yesterday. Results were as follows: Championship Singles.—First life: Mr Petty (Nelson) defeated Mrs J. Shannon (Grey mouth), 26-16. Second life: Mrs Martin (Christchurch) defeated Miss McDowell (Ashburton), 26-6. Handicap Doubles. —First round: Mrs Hooper and Miss McKnight (Greymouth) defeated Mesdames Brunt (Nelson) and Dickie (Christchurch), 26-14; Mesdames Mercer and Presscott (Greymouth) defeated Mesdames Martin and Hosking (Christchurch), 26-16; Mesdames Nottle and Slee (Westport) defeated Mesdames McKechnie and Duncan (Cobden), 26-10; Mesdames Howard and Wilson (Runanga) defeated Mesdames Rhodes (Dunedin) and Gandle (Christchurch), 26-12; Mrs Hooper and Miss McKnight (Greymouth) defeated Mrs Hawke and Miss McDowell (Ashburton), 26-22.
