HANMER SPRINGS R.S.A. TOURNAMENT The annual golf tournament of the Hanmer Springs branch of the Returned Services’ Association was held on the dub’s links during the week-end. Results were as follows:—Best gross score over 36 holes: M. W. Simes 150, E. J. Pumphrey 153. Best net score over 36 hoes: A. C. Harris 135, D. M. Haldane 135. Best gross score, morning medal round: D. F. Cochrane 72, A. F. Green 78. Best net score, morning medal round: C. N. Fisher 63, F. Edwards 68. 'Afternoon: R. Bruce-Smith 71, T. Condliffe 78. Best net score, afternoon medal round: S. J. Lugg 64, R. GordonGray 66- Teams’ match: P. Hobson, Y. F. Bell, T. Condliffe, A. C. Harris, 272. Wooden spoon: J. Suckling, A. BrookTaylor, C. H. Ansley, E. Day, 317. At the end of the tournament trophies were presented by Mrs Latham, wife of the vice-president (Dr. A. Latham).
