FIRE SWEEPS THROUGH CITY (Rec. 10 p.m.) TOKYO, February 19Ten thousand Japanese were made homeless when a fire, fanned by a strong wind, swept through Noshiro, a city in northern Honshu, destroying 2500 houses. The fire burned for eight hours before being brought under control. Four persons were killed and about 500 injured. Noshiro is on the sea coast. It has a population of 46,000
