CANTERBURY JUNIOR AND WOMEN’S ATHLETIC CHAMPIONSHIPS.—Photographs taken at Rugby Park on Saturday, when the provincial junior and women’s athletic championships were decided. (1) A new Dominion record is established by G. M. Cox in the 440 yards championship. His time was 50.9sec. (2) K. Beardsley winning the 100 yards championship from R. Gaskell (right) and M. B. Pope. The time for this race, 10.4sec, was 1-5sec outside the New Zealand record. Beardsley also won the 220 title. (3) A good start in the 880 yards race. From left are D. Beker, J. R.
