LAMBETH AND BISHOP BARNES

Sir, —A. Mayell in his information in “The Press” of December 13 is oblivious to the fact that the church he describes and the teaching therein are vain, irrelevant ideas. The Devil has crawled on his belly since the creation of the world and the Creator placed His human beings on their feet. Owing to the Devil’s works He requested humans to kneel only in reverence to His holy commandmants as preached from His holy words only. A church otherwise is only worth its constructive value for some better use, because preachings there are mostly for earthly benefits. Christianity is a pure and righteous faith and is not hard to follow; and the fault is only with the Devil’s aspirations to get on his feet and destroy his adverseries.— Yours, etc., A JOHN ODGERS. Annat, December 14, 1948. [“Researcher” may, if he wishes, briefly reply; otherwise, this correspondence is closed.—Ed., "The Press.”]
