APPOINTMENT OF JUDGES

RECORD ENTRY FOR EVENT AT AUCKLAND (PJi.) WELLINGTON, October a. The judges for the New Zealand brass band competition at Auckland from February 13 to 19 will be Messrs A. H. Baillie (Sydney), T. Goodall (Wellington), and J. D. Goffin (Timaru). Forty-five bands have entered, a -record for New Zealand. The nomina(Championship class: Auckland Watersiders, Hawera Municipal, Kaikorai Brass. 2nd New Zealand Armoured Regiment, Woolston Brass, Wanganui Garrison, and Wellington Watersiders.
