N.Z. AIR CREW LEAVES FOR BERLIN
. —-♦ ; (P.A.) AUCKLAND, September 23. The first New Zealand aircrew for Berlin left this morning. Its members were Flight-Lieutenants D. J. Phillips and G. M. King/ Flying Officer J. R. Hicks, and Engineer L. G. Woods. Thev will connect with a Hythe flyingboat leaving Sydney to-morrow. A second crew will leave Auckland to-morrow, and a third on Saturday.
