FORMER SPRINGBOK CAPTAIN DEAD
(N.Z.P.A.—Reuter—Copyright) CAPE TOWN, September 22. The death has occurred of Mr Paul Roo§, a member of the South African Parliament and a noted Rugby footballer of past years. He was captain of the first Springbok team to tour Great Britain, in 1906. This team played 29 matches, won 26, lost two (to Scotland and to Cardiff), and drew one. Mr Roos was a forward.
