BUTTER FOR CANADA
Sir,—What amount of butter do the Canadians consume, taking it all the year round? I’ve heard it’s more than we do. I agree with “New Zealander" that if we have sufficient butter to export to Canada it’s time rationing was ended here. They should be able to produce their own butter. Would they put themselves on such a drastic ration of such an essential food for us?— Yours, etc., . NEVER ENDING. September 22, 1948.
