BOXING
HAWKE’S BAY TEAM (P.A.) HASTINGS, August 31. Four boxers have been selected by the Hawke’s Bay Boxing Association to repffesent the province at the New Zealand amateur boxing championships at Dunedin next month. They are Jack Goggin (Dannevirke), middle-weight; Jim Mclvor (Hastings), welter-weight: Billy Patterson (Waipawa), feather-weight: and Normar Hope (Hastings), light-weight. The manager of the team will be Mr J. Bickerstaff.
