FOOD FOR BRITAIN
Coupons collected for the week ended July 12 showed a slight improve,nent, the totals being 15.766 meat coupons and 431 butter coupons, reported the secretary of the Aid for Britain Committee, Christchurch (Mr T. W. Smith) yesterday. Rangiora topped the list with a total of 4900 meat and 94 butter coupons. The totals were: Akaroa, 122 meat coupons; Belfast, 29 meat; Culverden, 84 meat and 6 butter; Cust, 48 meat; Dunsandel, 25 meat; Hawarden, 1966 meat and 148 butter; Kaiapoi, 18 meatOxford, 10 meat; Rangiora. 4900 meat and 94 butter; Riccarton. 308 meat- St Albans, 119 meat and 5 butter; Waiau, 84 meat; Port Levy, 2453 meat and 215 butter; Medbury School, 1248 meat and 13 butter: box in Square, 1440 meat; box in library, 850 meat.
