NEW SITE FOR SHOW
WAIMATE ASSOCIATION TO DISCUSS PROPOSAL
The financial aspect of the plan to hold the Waimate Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s show on the racecourse will be discussed by members of the association’s special subcommittee and the Waimate Racing Club’s trustees. This decision was made at a committee meeting of the association, when Major N. A. Rattray reported that'the consent of the Building Controller had been given for the removal of buildings from ’ the show ground to the racecourse. Advice must be forwarded of the number of buildings which would be available for sale, and the number which would be removed, together with a plan of the new site, said Majoir Rattray. Because he was one of the racing club’s trustees Major Rattray was reolaced on the special committee, at his own request, bv Mr J. C. Hay. Mr A. J. Mcßae presided at the meeting.
