HOKITIKA TOWN HALL DESERTED
The old town hall at Hokitika, which has been deteriorating for some years, has been deserted since the removal last week of the borough council’s offices to the museum room in the library. The old hall was built of Oregon'pine 70 years ago. The photographs of councillors of the early days are being preserved and will be placed in the municipal buildings. It is unlikely, however, that these buildings will be erected for some time because of the building restrictions.
