RESTRICTIONS ON USE OF CEMENT
Restrictions on the use of cement in Christchurch are not being lifted. The District Building Controller (Mr J. Andrew) said yesterday that there was no prospect yet of an early lifting of the restrictions. The stock position had not improved as expected, and merchants and others interested had been advised that the restrictions were being retained. Cement supplies were still being strictly rationed
