MAN DIES IN HOSPITAL
BURNS FROM OIL FIRE IN HARBOUR
(P A.) AUCKLAND, December 9. The man who suffered serious burns when he was trapped by burning oil on the water at Freeman’s Bay on Monday, died in the Auckland Hospital to-night. He was Peter Baron, aged 62, ship’s watchman and scowmaster. Baron was trapped by flames when he was working on scaffolding under a wharf.
