NEW ZEALAND RED CROSS SOCIETY Mr A. E. Kincaid, chairman of the local centre of the Red Cross Society, has received the following telegram the head offlce of society in Wellington:—“On behalf of the Dominion executive, extend sympathy to sufferers in tragic ftre disaster. Ready to co-operate in relief measures through our New Zealand disaster relief fund.” Mr Kincaid said that his centre had been asked by the Walmate and Timaru sub-centres whether they could help by taking in and caring for any shock cases which might be sent from Christchurch. Applications for relief should be sent to the North Canterbury Centre office, Cashel street.
