BUILDING
Sir,—ln view of the report m The Press” to-day concerning the demolition of a house in Charles street, we wondered what your readers, in general and the Returned Services Association in particular, would have to say if they could only see the large brick and concrete stable and cowbails being built in this district. With the housing situation m its P re! j?nt state, we think buildings such as this are a positive disgrace.—Yours, etc., TWO BROADFIELD RESIDENTS. September 30, 1947. [The Building Controller said that if the two correspondents cared to make a specific complaint about the above it would be investigated.!
