TIMBER WORKERS’ UNION
Sir, —I also am a timber worker. I would like to know what happened to the balance-sheet for 1945-46, as we are at the end of the financial year of 1946-47 and we have 30s to pay out. What for? There has been no meeting of the above union since July, 1946. It looks to me as if we just pay our 30s to say we are union members. So I think it is time timber workers woke up.—Yours. e|c., SLABEY. September 22, 1947.
