PUBLIC SERVICE ORGANISERS
OFFICER TO WORK IN CHRISTCHURCH
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, August 22. To enable closer attention to field organising work and a general improvement in the contacts between individual members and the executive, the conference of the Public Service Association has decided to appoint secretary-organisers at Hamilton and Christchurch. Another assistant to the general secretary or field secretary at the head office of the association will also be appointed.
It is intended that the secretaryorganiser appointed at Hamilton will also carry out organisational work in the Bay of Plenty and Taranaki sections of the association, and that the Christchurch secretary-organiser will also carry out duties of organisation in the South Canterbury section.
