FOOTWEAR TRADE GROUP ENTERTAINED
Members of the footwear trade group of the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association were entertained last evening by the president of the New Zealand Footwear Manufacturers’ Federation (Mr S. H. Edwards). The function was held to celebrate the opening in Christchurch of a subsidiary factory by Mr Edwards’s firm, and to enable him to meet representatives of the footwear industry.
