AGE BENEFIT
Sir,—The Wanganui Old Age Pensioners’ Association suggest increased pensions. The present pension is quite all right for those who have an income up to £1 a week or have no rent up to £l, but for those, like my wife and myself, with no income, and paying £1 a week rent another 2s 6d a week each would be very helpful.— Yours, etc., * OLD AGE PENSIONER. March 18, 1947.
