Supply of Schoolboys' Caps.—Commenting on a statement made by a Christchurch clothing retailer in “The Press” that schoolboys’ caps were now almost impossible to obtain, as the Kaiapoi woollen mills had closed down all their cap-making machines recently because of a shortage of labour, an official of the company said yesterday that the statement was entirely without foundation.
