FORMING FRENCH GOVERNMENT

RAMADIER ACCEPTS INVITATION (Rec. 8 p.m.) PARIS. January 19. Mr Ramadier, the Socialist leader, to-night formally informed the President (Mr Vincent Auriol) that he had accepted the invitation to' form a Government. Political quarters in Paris interpreted this as an indication that the parties concerned have virtually agreed to form a coalition. The M.R.P. (Popular Republicans) has not yet given its decision and has asked for assurances about Indo-China. Mr Ramadier has been working on the idea of a coalition ranging from the Communists to moderate Conservatives.
