CONCERT BY CORTOT ENDS IN UPROAR
(Rec. 7 p.m.) PARIS, January 19. The Paris Conservatoire Orchestra refused to accompany the noted pianist Alfred Cortot at the Theatre Deschamps last night, and the concert ended in uproar. Cortot was making his first public appearance in Paris after an 18 months’ ban because of his alleged attitude during the German occupation.
