REFUSAL TO DISEMBARK AT BATAVIA
(Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 14. Fifteen Australian girls who married Indonesians during the war refused to leave the ship which brought them to Batavia when they saw barefooted sarong-clad “in-laws” waiting to welcome them, says the “Daily Express” correspondent at Batavia.
