RAILWAYS UNDER ATTACK
CHINESE COMMUNIST CAMPAIGN (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 9 p.m.) NANKING, January 13. Chinese Communist forces are intensifying their campaign against Northern China’s vital railways. They have attacked Government troops near Yungski, capital of Kirin Province, in Manchuria, where the prize is the Yungki-Changchun railway. I The Communists at the same time massed for an attack against the Lunghai railway, in the south of Shantung Province, and directed systematic sabotage against the Peiping-Mukden and Tientsin-Pykow lines, which temporarily halted all traffic.
