FOUR JUSTICES IMPEACHED
ACTION IN ARGENTINA (Rec. 7.30 p.m.) BUENOS AIRES. Sept. 19. The Chamber of Deputies, voting by 104 to 47, impeached four Supreme Court justices for violation of Argentina’s constitution by recognising revolutionary Governments in 1939 and 1943.
The voting was on party ljnes, General Peron’s followers solidly supporting the impeachment. The Opposition said that "political vengeance” was the real reason for the action.
