SUPPLY OF FORCES IN JAPAN
AUSTRALIA ACCEPTS RESPONSIBILITY CANBERRA, May 3. The Australian Government has accepted responsibility in principle for the supply and maintenance of the British Commonwealth Occupation Force in Japan. The principles governing the proposal have been endorsed by the other participating governments, the United Kingdom and New Zealand, and approved by the Federal Cabinet.
