HEATHCOTE FLOODING
Sir.-J'lnquiring Mind" asks what will happen when the Heathcote river has to take the storm-water drainage from the new hospital. Every time there is a heavy rain we are going to nave a flood, unless the residents wake up and get the authorities to make bridge three times its present, length and clear the earth away from, under it. Give the. river its old channel, which nature made for it, and there will be no more floods.—Yours etc., '
