FISH STORIES
. report of an eel swallowing a duck whole is not surprising to r?f; Fort y years ago my George and Henry (the boy next door) were ''tickling" trout at Staveley. They chased a "whopper" into a deep hole m the creek, feeling around, Henry produced an enormous eel. He set off home, promising George some for his tea. He returned with the whole eel cleaned and said we could have it all as his mother found the whopper' inside and they would have the trout. I shall tell my "fish story" with renewed confidence now.—Yours etc., t> t-vT . t, S - M -- PAINTER. Prebbleton, December 5, 1945.
