BEER DRINKING IN HOSPITAL
"Military Medal" does not expect the public to give credance to his wild statements. Certainly a few boys have a glass of beer, but to say that more than 10,400 bottles are consumed yearly is utterly ridiculous. It is also a grave reflection on the administration of Christchurch Hospital, which I find admirable, and more strict m discipline than Australian Army hospitals, in which I have had recent experience.—Yours, etc., _ ~_ D. McGLINCHY, A.I.F. December. 6, 1945.
