CHRISTMAS CHEER
Sir,—As the spirit of Santa Claus (Saint Nicholas)—together with that of his Master—will survive when scoffers are forgotten, may I appeal once more through your columns for contributions from "men of goodwill" to augment the cheer for the patients of Sunnyside Mental Hospital and the children of Templeton Farm School? There is" no need to write at length as to the deep gratitude of the recipients, or of the blessings bestowed upon those who ! give; both are spontaneous. Contributions may be addressed to the Mental Welfare Society's Postal Box, 656, Christchurch; or left at the society's room, 27 Chancery lane (room 3, upstairs).—Yours, etc., E. H. C. RIDDER, Hon. Secretary, Mental Welfare Society, Incorporated. December 6, 1945.
