THREE MINOR FIRES
Three minor fires were attended by the Central Fire Brigade yesterday. At 2.12 p.m. there was a fire in the boiler-house of the Automobile Ascociation rooms in Worcester street, caused by a spark from the incinerator igniting rubbish on the floor. No damage was done. A paling fence was slightly damaged by a fire at 18 Seaview road, New Brighton, which the brigade extinguished. Painters, burning off caused an outbreak at the home of Mrs A. J. Jacobson. 19 Richmond terrace. New Brighton, but little damage was done before the brigade arrived and brought the fire under control.
