PAYMENT FOR MOTHERS
Sir,—A certain doctor has suggested that women be paid for bringing children into the world. Paid for bringing children, who bear God’s image, into a world of war, paganism, and evil of every sort! The shame of such a payment would defile both mother and children for life. How much lower will men’s minds descend? What this world needs is “Follow the Christ, the King. Live true, speak pure, right wrong; else, wherefore born?” None of us is just a State matter. We are individuals, and we belong to the King of Kings, the God of love, and truth, and righteousness.—Yours, etc., D.V. May 13, 1943.
