MALE VOICE CHOIRS IN MILITARY CAMPS

Sir,—Miss Jennings rather misses the point. While it is agreed that quite a lot can be done without music, much better results can be obtained if the full facilities are available. Also, veryfew camps would have the services of anyone capable of work up to the standard of a Belgian professor. If money is needed and will be of assistance, it should be forthcoming. If the payment made to the National Broadcasting party was discontinued, this would provide ample funds. In passing, I should imagine that this matter of payment to a privileged party is not very encouraging to all those who have done the work voluntarily for so long.—Yours, etc,, HARMONY.
