HOME GUARD PARADE
Sir,—l was very pleased to see, in to-day’s paper, two letters praising the parade of the Home Guard, held last Sunday. I was a spectator at the parade held in Little River on the same day, and can assure you that it was equally a most successful function. I think the officers and men deserve great credit for their performance, considering (he uphill battle the Home Guard have had, in getting munitions, and time and trouble men have had in gettting to parades. The Home Guard is entitled to the thanks and praise of the rest of the community, and I wish it the best of luck.-r-Yours, etc., SATISFIED. Little River, December 8, 1942.
