RELEASE OF FREEZING WORKERS
* Arrangements for the release of suitable freezing workers from the Army for the coming season are being made by a liaison officer of the National Service Department, who is at present visiting South Island camps to cooperate with the Army authorities. The officer, who is working in Canterbury, has had experience in the freezing industry, and has been selected for the work to ensure that suitable men are released.
