WOMEN HERD-TESTERS

COURSE AT LINCOLN COLLEGE The special course at 'Lincolp College for women herd-testers terminated on May 24, stated a report presented by the director (Professor E. R. Hudson) to the mo’nthly'meeting of the board yesterday. . The course was attended by 32 students, all of whom came from farms and were selected from 180 applicants. All the students had done well and most of them were assured of positions as herd-testers during the coming season. The director expressed the college’s indebtedness to Mr C. M. Hume, supervisor of herd recording, and his staff for assistance in conducting the course, to various dairy organisations, and to the Central Dairy Company for providing facilities for testing unde* factory conditions.
