METHVEN COLLIE CLUB
The annual trials of the Methven Collie "Dog Club were held on Friday and Saturday on the Blackford property of Mr R. C, Todhunter, after being postponed from Thursday on account of a snowstorm. In spite of this the conditions were fairly favourable and the entries were about 30 for each of the three classes. The judge was Mr E. Relph, of High Peaks. The results were as follows:—Class 1— Long pull: R. Wilson’s Mac Junior 1, C. Hood s Scott 2. P. Ensor’s Bob 3, C. Hood’s Tan Again 4. District Event (rpn in conjunction).—C. Hood’s Scott 1 C.'Hood’s Tan Again 2. R. Ensor’s Lassie 3. W. Carney’s Tip 4. , „ s . s 2—Yarding: J. Murchison’s Mike 1, R. Wilson’s Hope 2. C. Watson’s Gip 3. R. Wilson s Mac Junior 4. District Event—J. Dalton’s Glen 1. C. Hood s Scot 2. R. Ensor’s Laddie 3, C. Hood s Tan Again 4. Class 3—Huntaway: J. Radcliffe’s Toss 1, C. Clifton’s Rough 2, W. Ross’s Don Minor 3. M. Bell’s Tip 4. Disirict Event-Q. Clifton’s Rough 1, M. Bell’s Tip 2, C. Hood's Don 3, P. C. Ensor’s Flash 4.
